Welcome to darkershell.com, This was made to be casual, a place to dump my ideas, personal projects, and occasionally personal stuff. Use anything here at your own risk.
I feel like this blog could be ridiculously simpler, and I actually started with something like that—a Jekyll template and publishing via GitHub. It even made me happy to see my contribution history there… but in the end, it’s just plain text, nothing like real code.
After countless DNS errors trying to point and validate my domain to GitHub, I just gave up on publishing anything there. It used to feel easier in the past—I have no idea what changed nowadays.
A cheap Amazon Lightsail instance will solve this and give me an interface to write more instead of playing webmaster/devops for my own site. Actually, thinking about it, I don’t need to deal with this right now. I have no visitors, and this is a static site, which only reinforces how stupid it is to deal with non-existent problems.
